Episode 2: John Psathas

Sonic Speculations is a new podcast in which Nathaniel Otley interviews composers, sound artists and other music and sound creatives from Aotearoa. The podcast aims to both provide insight into the creative lives and processes of these musicians as well as highlight the many different ways in which people both approach their craft and indeed forge careers in the arts.

Nathaniel Otley is a composer, conductor and violinist from Ōtepoti. He is currently studying towards a Master of Music in composition at the University of Sydney researching Ecological thinking in compositional practice.
