About the work:
Tendrils are essential components in the growth of climbing plants and vines. They are notable as they are touch sensitive and can move to grow around objects they come into contact with, a process which allows plants to establish paths for sustained and future growth. Within this work these properties are explored through slowly searching through timbral zones and the building of sonic connectivity through an intimate exploration of the sonic and physical characteristics of each saxophone.
